New WordPress plugins, software and services forthcoming from Lokalyze
The team at Lokalyze has been quite busy over the past few weeks. In addition to working on client projects, we have been busy working on our service offerings.
As stated in a previous blog post, we have had three different plugins in development that are now done. One has been approved by WordPress and is available publicly while the second one is in the WordPress review process while the third is in final testing.
WordPress Plugin Review Process
The three plugins that we have developed to help improve local SEO for a site will be available publicly through the WordPress website. WordPress has criteria that every plugin that is intended for public consumption through WordPress must meet. Once a plugin has been submitted, WordPress will review and either accept or reject the plugin. When a plugin is accepted, it is made available through the WordPress plugin directory.
Lokalyze Call Me Now Plugin
Since over half of all search engine traffic for top websites come from mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets, this is consistent with all of our clients who focus on local business. Many people looking for a local business much rather talk to a person than search through a website. To greatly simplify the process for your search engine traffic, we have created the Lokalyze Call Me Now plugin.
For websites having the Lokalyze Call Me Now plugin installed, their website will show a phone icon on all mobile devices during business hours. Traffic can click the icon and the phone number specified will show in the user’s dial pad. To call the business, all the user has to do is call the phone number listed, putting them into contact with the business.
The business can select the background color of the icon in the settings panel along with the business hours. The plugin will only show during the business hours specified.
For those websites with Google Analytics already installed, Lokalyze Call Me Now analytics will show in the Google Analytics profile of the website having the plugin.
Lokalyze Local SEO Plugin
The Lokalyze Local SEO plugin has been submitted for review to WordPress and will be released once approved. It contains the functionality of the Call Me Now plugin in addition to several other things that are important for local SEO. Some of this functionality includes:
- Easy to use admin panel
- Responsive design
- Translation ready
- Important business information such as your business name, type, short description, website, URL, logo, etc.
- Geo coordinates calculated with 1-click
- Contact details including your phone numbers, fax numbers and email.
- Payment details including your accepted payment types, accepted currencies, and price range.
- Your business hours in 12 or 24 hour format
- Social media icons and links including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Youtube, and others
- Google Maps
- Google Reviews integration
- Google MyBusiness integration
The Lokalyze Local SEO plugin is free for single location businesses. A multiple location plugin is also in development and will be available for a nominal fee. We are waiting for final approval from WordPress for this plugin.
Lokalyze Reviews Plugin
The final Local SEO plugin is called Lokalyze Reviews. It is a tool to help business owners manage reviews for their business. Business reviews are an important ranking factor for local SEO.
This is a tool that enables site visitors to post business reviews directly to Google from a website. A paid version will enable visitors to your site to post a review for your business to additional reviews sites such as Facebook, Yelp, and others. This plugin is currently in the testing process.
The plugin for a single location website and integration with Google Reviews will be available soon for free. A paid version of the plugin for multi-location websites that integrate into several different reviews websites is in development.
Free Local SEO Plugins
Versions of all three plugins for single location websites will be available for free. Plugins for multi-location websites who would like to integrate their sites with several different review sites will be available for a nominal price.
LAMP, WordPress and Mobile App Developers
For web development and marketing agencies as well as entrepreneurs with very large projects, we are now offering dedicated programmers on an open-ended basis. A dedicated programmer is assigned to work on your projects exclusively for as long as you need them. Payment is monthly so you are guaranteed a minimum of 160 hours per month of billing cycle.
Compared to an hourly programmer, the cost savings are quite large. An experienced LAMP programmer or WordPress developer comes in at less than $12 per hour. Your programmers will have a minimum of 4 years of development experience.
Mobile app developers as in experienced IOS and Android apps are also available at an hourly cost of $15. Your programmer will have a minimum of four years of software development and has completed an extensive training program.

When our three free plugins are completed, we will be making paid version having added functionality such as support for multiple location websites and reviews sites. These tools are all focused on addressing many of the digital marketing challenges that local businesses encounter on a daily basis. However, they will not only address local SEO, but content marketing and social media marketing as well.
